David Karpook, President and CEO, Bricsnet FM America
David Karpook is President and CEO of Bricsnet. A 20-year industry veteran, he has been a customer, vendor, system implementer, trainer and strategist, managing workplace technology projects in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Bricsnet, Dave held management positions at Tririga and Peregrine Systems. His experience includes seven years as a facility manager and construction project manager at the University of Florida. Dave has also worked as a journalist for The New York Times and The Orlando Sentinel. He is a graduate of Harvard University and has a Master of Architecture degree from University of Florida. Dave speaks frequently on workplace management topics at industry forums and conferences.
Cristina Niculescu, President and CEO, Bricsnet Iberica
Cristina Niculescu brings more than 13 years of international experience acquired in start-ups and consolidated technology companies to her roles leading Bricsnet's European branch. Prior to joining Bricsnet, Cristina worked in the telecommunications sector for several global mobile carriers, and in the software industry developing applications for the telecom and automotive sectors. She has extensive experience in product and services management, overseeing all aspects from product design to marketing, sales and customer support. Cristina holds a MSc degree in Environmental Sciences from Cranfield University, United Kingdom, and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa Business School, Spain. She is fluent in English, French, Romanian and Spanish.
Richard Frainier, Vice President of Operations
Richard Frainier has over 20 years experience as a software developer, computer science researcher, and enterprise- and web- software development manager. Rich has brought numerous software products to market at both startups and established enterprise software companies such as Peoplesoft. Rich started his professional career as an officer in the US Navy. Rich has a BS in Physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology, an MBA from National University, and has developed and taught a Graduate-level Information Systems course at Golden Gate University.
Andy Fuhrman, Vice President of Product Development
Andy is a globally recognized thought leader in workplace solutions and services with a long history of accomplishments, focused on development of business processes and technologies to improve performance and reduce costs in the management of the three most significant bottom-line expenses for businesses: Labor, real property assets and information technology. His career includes 20 years as a construction superintendent and ICBO certified building inspector for the high tech industry of Silicon Valley followed by seventeen years in various roles including heading up his internationally recognized consulting and services practice CAFM Services; Director of Facilities Services for Gazelle, LLC focused on Colocation Centers; CEO of the Open Standards Consortium for Real Estate (OSCRE) and most recently Director of Customer Solutions for Cisco’s Smart+Connected Communities. Andy serves on several industry-related advisory boards, and is a founding member of the Virtual Builders Roundtable. In 1999 he was named a Fellow of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), the world's leading professional association for facility professionals, a distinction that recognized his years of service to the profession.
Mark Thompson, Director of Finance
Mark brings more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience in the high-tech industry, with primary focus in the software sector. He has extensive hands-on and managerial experience which includes more than 15 years in a corporate controller capacity. Mark has been instrumental in a variety of public and private offerings of both debt and equity, in addition to numerous value-added mergers and acquisitions. Mark leads the accounting, finance and human resources functions for Bricsnet. Prior to joining Bricsnet, Mark served as a corporate controller at various public and private companies, including Funmobility, FirstRain, Latitude Communications and Quintus Corporation. Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting from San Jose State University.
Antonio McFarlane, Director of Business Development
Antonio McFarlane brings 15 years of broad implementation experience with custom and packaged enterprise systems. Prior to joining Bricsnet, Antonio spent 13 years in Accenture’s Technology Solutions Delivery practice, specializing in technical project management, systems integration, and IT operations management. Antonio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems from California State University, Sacramento.
